3 July 2017 / Legislation Alert

Certifier obligations that will affect your Practical Completion

As at July 1 2017 (QLD) if you don’t have a copy of the register for all essential fire services, special fire services and fire safety installations in full along with a mark-up plan showing the locations for ongoing future Building Owner Maintenance then the Building Certifier is not likely to issue the Form 11 Certificate of Classification in QLD. Certifiers not obtaining all documents from the Builder are open to prosecution by the QBCC as QFES notify the Commission of the Offence. Read more.
